The farm offers single paddock agistment with shelter and water in a grassy ½ acre (2000m2) safely secured paddock.
Horses are fed twice daily with a special non grain formula, that is made locally and delivered fresh each week.
We also supplement when necessary with our own fresh ‘biscuits’ of barley sprouts. We can produce 750kg per day of a special blend of Barley, Lupins, sunflower and natural herbs from our climate controlled sprouting room. Each horse will receive a 7kg biscuit of the sprouted mixture per day.
We also have a good supply of quality Lucerne Hay that we have sourced from one farm for the last 7 years.
Our feeding regime for agisted horses is to give the animal’s digestive system a break from the ‘hard feed’ of oats etc that it endures while in full training and quite often leads to ulcers and other internal problems... yet keeps a good healthy body condition and promotes natural growth and development for your horses.
We have 100 single paddocks available for agistment. However by rotation, and to ensure a fresh paddock is always available for clients we only use 75% of these paddocks at any one time.
